Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions

By booking an appointment with Boosted Mobile Detailing, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies help us protect your vehicle, manage our schedule, and provide every customer with the time and attention their vehicle deserves.

1. Appointment Booking & Deposits

A minimum of 24 hours’ advance notice is required for all appointments. Same-day appointments may not be available.

A $25 deposit is required to reserve your appointment. The deposit is included in the total price of your selected service and is not an additional charge.

Once an appointment is reserved, that time is specifically held for your vehicle. Because appointment times are limited, deposits are subject to the cancellation policy below.

2. Cancellation Policy

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE when an appointment is cancelled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled appointment time.

Cancellations made with sufficient notice may be eligible for a reschedule, subject to availability and the applicable deposit policy.

No-shows and last-minute cancellations may require a new deposit before another appointment can be reserved.

3. Rescheduling Due to Weather

Weather conditions can interfere with mobile detailing services. Rain, snow, extreme heat, high winds, freezing temperatures, or other unsafe conditions may prevent us from safely or properly completing a service.

If weather requires us to reschedule your appointment, your original deposit will remain valid and your rescheduled appointment will not require an additional deposit.

Weather-related rescheduling is free as long as the original deposit has been paid.

We reserve the right to determine whether weather conditions are suitable for safely performing the requested service.

4. Customer Location & Water Requirements

Boosted Mobile Detailing is a mobile detailing service. We bring our own professional equipment and generator.

Customers are required to provide access to a working outdoor water spigot or suitable water source within 30 feet of the vehicle for services that require water.

The vehicle must be parked in a safe and accessible location with sufficient room to work around it.

If the required water source is unavailable, inaccessible, or unsuitable when we arrive, the appointment may need to be rescheduled or cancelled.

5. Travel Fee

Our standard service area covers Weber and Davis County and locations within approximately 20 miles of those areas.

Locations outside our standard service area may be subject to a $50 travel fee. The applicable travel fee will be communicated before the appointment.

6. Vehicle Condition & Realistic Results

Every vehicle is different. Detailing is intended to clean, restore, protect, and improve the condition of a vehicle, but perfection cannot always be guaranteed.

Older, heavily neglected, damaged, or excessively soiled vehicles may have permanent stains, odors, paint defects, scratches, dents, discoloration, damaged materials, or other conditions that cannot be completely corrected through detailing.

In some cases, the goal of a detail is to restore an older vehicle to the best condition realistically possible rather than make it look brand new.

Professional detailing and proper maintenance can help preserve the condition and appearance of a vehicle and may help maintain its resale value. However, Boosted Mobile Detailing does not guarantee an increase in a vehicle’s market value or resale price.

7. Pre-Existing Damage & Vehicle Condition

Boosted Mobile Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damage or defects.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Scratches and paint defects
• Dents and dings
• Clear coat failure or peeling paint
• Faded, oxidized, or damaged paint
• Cracked or damaged trim
• Existing stains or discoloration
• Torn, cracked, or deteriorated leather, vinyl, or fabric
• Loose or damaged interior components
• Existing odors
• Water damage
• Previous repair or modification issues
• Electrical or mechanical issues
• Existing damage to lights, screens, buttons, switches, sensors, or electronic components

All visible damage and relevant vehicle conditions will be documented before we begin touching or working on your vehicle.

8. Electrical & Sensitive Components

Modern vehicles contain sensitive electronic systems, wiring, sensors, screens, modules, and other components.

Boosted Mobile Detailing will use reasonable professional care when cleaning the vehicle. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing electrical problems, improperly sealed components, aftermarket modifications, damaged wiring, or electrical issues that occur as a result of pre-existing vehicle conditions.

Customers should disclose known electrical problems, warning lights, damaged seals, aftermarket modifications, or other relevant vehicle issues before service begins.

9. Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for removing valuables, personal belongings, paperwork, cash, electronics, firearms, child seats, and other items from the vehicle before service.

Boosted Mobile Detailing is not responsible for personal property left inside the vehicle.

Personal belongings may interfere with the cleaning process and may need to be removed before work begins.

10. Pet Hair, Excessive Dirt & Additional Labor

Heavy pet hair, excessive mud, trash, stains, sand, spills, odors, biological contamination, or other extreme conditions may require significantly more time and labor than a standard detail.

Additional charges may apply when a vehicle requires substantially more work than the selected service includes.

Whenever reasonably possible, additional work and charges will be communicated to the customer before proceeding.

11. Customer Availability & Waiting Time

Your time is valuable, and ours is too.

Customers are expected to be available and ready for the appointment at the scheduled time, or to provide clear instructions for accessing the vehicle before the appointment.

If we arrive at the scheduled location and cannot get in contact with you, we will wait up to 30 minutes.

If we cannot reach you within 30 minutes of waiting, we may leave and move on to the next scheduled appointment.

If this occurs, the appointment will be treated as a missed appointment, and another deposit will be required to reserve a new appointment.

12. Access to the Vehicle

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is accessible at the scheduled appointment time.

If the vehicle is blocked in, inaccessible, located behind a locked gate without provided access, or otherwise unavailable, the appointment may be considered a missed appointment if the issue cannot be resolved within the scheduled service window.

13. Paint Correction & Surface Restoration

Paint correction is designed to improve the appearance of paint by safely reducing certain surface imperfections.

Not every scratch, defect, oxidation, stain, or paint issue can be safely removed.

Deep scratches, clear coat failure, severe oxidation, damaged paint, dents, or defects extending beyond the paint’s correctable surface may require professional body or paint repair.

Boosted Mobile Detailing will not perform unsafe correction work simply to achieve a cosmetic result.

14. Ceramic Coatings

Ceramic coatings provide protection and hydrophobic properties while enhancing the appearance of properly prepared paint.

A ceramic coating does not make a vehicle scratch-proof, completely prevent rock chips, or eliminate the need for proper washing and maintenance.

Paint correction may be recommended before ceramic coating when the paint contains noticeable imperfections because the coating is intended to protect and enhance the condition of the paint rather than hide defects.

15. Service Times

Estimated service times are not guaranteed completion times.

The actual time required depends on vehicle size, condition, contamination, selected services, weather, access, and other factors.

Heavily soiled vehicles and vehicles requiring extensive restoration may take substantially longer.

16. Safety

Boosted Mobile Detailing reserves the right to refuse or stop service if the working environment is unsafe.

This may include unsafe weather, hazardous chemicals or substances, aggressive animals, dangerous surroundings, unstable surfaces, unsafe vehicle conditions, or other circumstances that could place the customer, technician, vehicle, or equipment at risk.

17. Vehicle Modifications & Special Conditions

Customers must disclose relevant aftermarket modifications or unusual vehicle conditions that could affect the detailing process.

This may include aftermarket electrical systems, lowered vehicles, specialty wheels, damaged body panels, modified interiors, exposed wiring, aftermarket wraps, decals, fragile accessories, or other modifications.

18. Customer Responsibility

By booking a service, the customer confirms that they have the authority to authorize Boosted Mobile Detailing to perform the requested services on the vehicle.

The customer is responsible for communicating known problems, previous damage, special concerns, and relevant vehicle conditions before service begins.

19. Final Inspection

Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle after the service is completed.

Any concerns regarding the completed service should be brought to our attention as soon as possible so they can be reviewed.

20. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a booking, paying a deposit, or allowing Boosted Mobile Detailing to begin work on your vehicle, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Boosted Mobile Detailing reserves the right to update these terms and conditions when necessary. The terms applicable to an appointment are those in effect at the time the appointment is booked.

Our goal is simple: provide professional vehicle care, protect your investment, and treat every vehicle with the care and attention it deserves.
